Brand Identity, Spatial Design
As the largest theatrical exhibitor in the United States and in the world, AMC Theatres delivers the best in moviegoing to numerous moviegoers each year. However, AMC is facing a decline audience.

AMC Theatres' transformation extends beyond traditional cinema, creating an immersive experience that rekindles the magic of moviegoing. Through an engaging online and app experience, along with the introduction of VR technology for both theaters and home viewing, AMC redefines entertainment for the modern audience.


LOGO & COLOR
Bridging tradition and innovation, this monogram brand logo artfully intertwines the letters ‘A’ and ‘C,’ drawing inspiration from the timeless glow of cinema’s iconic light bulbs and the precision of a camera lens.

Introducing our new color palette, inspired by the interplay of camera and projector, and fueled by the passion, emotions, and love of every moviegoer.



SPATIAL
The system extends to numbers and icons, seamlessly integrating into theater room signage and digital screen time boards. This new identity immerses customers in an enhanced, dynamic AMC Theatres experience, redefining their entertainment journey.


POSTER SERIESI use bold typography to infuse excitement and energy, creating a vibrant atmosphere that reflects the dynamic world of movies and entertainment. Through a combination of typography, colors, and imagery, I bring this vision to life in the poster series.


APPLICATIONSI reintroduce the online streaming platform, extending the cinematic experience beyond the theater and into the comfort of home. The browser library emerges from the monogram "C," incorporating a rotating motion and a red flash that mimics the anticipation of a film’s opening sequence.


PACKAGINGI designed the packaging to be an extension of the experience—entertaining beyond the screen. Every word, every product, every detail speaks in our distinct tone of voice with the playful illustrations.
