KINET
Visual Identity
CONCEPT & IDEA
The project explores the intersection of language and rhythm. By treating each character as a modular unit reactive to sound, the system blurs the line between traditional legibility and abstract visual expression, transforming static text into an engaging, living narrative.
APPROACH
I take an interactive, software-driven approach to transform typography into a responsive visual instrument. Using generative coding, I developed a custom software within Processing that allows the typeface to be fully responsive to music’s beats. This interaction adds layers of meaning and emotion, as users can select motion modes or manually control the shifts through a slider during a live performance.
